and pampering, in addition to playing, which allows them to learn and discover their environment.
Among the most important methods that should be considered in dog breeding are the following:

Read various information about the quality of the dog to be acquired, to find out its characteristics, character, the breed to which it belongs, and the diseases that it may have.

Learning the basics of dog breeding, especially if the dog lives in the same house as its owner, and the beginning is in giving him some simple instructions, which when he gets used to it becomes part of his daily routine, and usually the training stage is when the dog is a puppy, and when he grows up he will retain the habits he has acquired for most of his life.

Inform all family members about the basics and exercises that the dog has started to learn so that everyone can deal according to these basics so that the dog does not get confused, which leads to confusion and not knowing the correctness of the system he was trained on, and this is very essential that may spoil the whole training task.

Support the puppy morally and reward him whenever he does something in the right way, and this is by providing him with food, patting him or petting him, and it is better to be moderate in rewarding him, as once every few days, so that rewards do not become a habit and daily behavior.

Take the dog to the parks to see people; dogs themselves adore gatherings and hate loneliness, and they also consider the house where they live part of these gatherings.

Practicing physical activity with a dog, such as walking or playing with him; these creatures have great energy that exceeds human energy exponentially, and neglecting this point makes them feel lonely and bored, so they tend to bark and aggression.

Mentally activating the dog keeps boredom and routine away from him, Dogs have the ability to acquire many skills in dealing with humans, such as trying to ask for help with something, looking for an object, or performing sports and games.

Accustom the dog to stay at home alone for a few hours, but be careful not to prolong the period that the dog will spend alone so as not to be inclined to ferocity and aggressiveness.

Building a small hut for the dog and getting him used to sleeping in it helps to give him a place not to be inside the house all the time, and for the dog to get used to sleeping and eating at the Times allotted for this.

Clarify the words of rejection and prohibition for the dog so that he understands them and remains clear to him when the need to use them arises, and he can be accustomed to a hand signal showing him the rejection of what he is doing, or used as a kind of reprimand, which makes him stop his work.

Conducting full and periodic examinations of the dog, including checking his health condition, taking care of his hygiene, his external appearance, and giving him special vaccinations, and since such care is expensive, it can be done only once a year, but if symptoms of a disease or a change in the dog’s Health appear, he should be taken to a veterinarian immediately.

Useful tips for training small dogs :

Training different types of small dogs require listening to and executing commands, interacting with other people and animals in a correct way, and here are the most prominent tips for training small dogs:

Listen to the puppy :

The owner should learn to listen to his puppy, if he notices that his little dog does not seem comfortable in the presence of another person or animal, he should avoid pressing him to interact with him and just respect his desire, forcing him to do things he does not want, which may create bigger problems later, such as aggressiveness.

Show kindness and tenderness to the puppy :

Most people show annoyance when they are not satisfied with the level of their dogs ‘ execution of commands, and at the same time they may ignore the good things they do, but in fact, dogs should be given a lot of attention and praise when they behave well and avoid showing annoyance when they don’t sometimes, as you should focus on showing kindness and tenderness to the puppy generously instead of insulting him.

Feed the puppy what he likes :

Providing a food that is written on it as a favorite of all dogs does not mean that the dog will definitely like it, some dogs are very selective about what foods they prefer, some dogs may prefer soft foods to crunchy and hard foods, so you should pay attention to the preferences of the dog to be raised.

Continuity :

Continue to train the dog to understand commands, and tell him what to do instead of forbidding him what not to do, for example, if the dog jumps on someone to pet him, and his owner tells him not to jump, he may go to jump in other places, but it is better to ask him to sit directly.

Realistic expectations :

It takes a long time to train small dogs and change their behavior, so the owner must have realistic expectations about how long it will take him to change his dog’s undesirable behaviors, so he must avoid rushing to change his dog’s behavior. for example, the behavior of a dog that has been allowed to jump everywhere for a long period of time cannot be changed by immediately reversing this behavior.

Gradually give the puppy his freedom :

One of the common mistakes that many owners of small dogs make is to give the new puppy absolute freedom to roam around the house without any restrictions, which can cause an ominous mess.

One of the best ways to reduce the mess that a new dog may cause is to keep him tied up in a safe place at home, especially when the owner does not have time to train or monitor him, and then start giving him freedom gradually and in stages.
